View of Dining Room from entry
This view is from entry looking towards the octagonal mosaic floored dining room. Past the dining room is the kitchen, above is the mezzanine library. |

View of Kitchen (butcher block table)
The kitchen is designed around two pieces of furniture built by the owner’s husband many years ago. Three kitchens have been designed around the marble and butcher block table. |

View of Kitchen (couch)
For this kitchen, it was decided to include the couch as everyone always gathers in the kitchen and it would be nice to have a place for guests to sit. |

View of Library Mezzanine and Dome
This view looks across from one side of the mezzanine to the other. The mezzanine is wrapped with redwood bookshelves and opens to the study and master bedroom. Behind the bookshelves is a small secret room housing a built in bunk bed. Over the mezzanine is an octagonal rough sawn cedar dome with a cupola and skylight at the top. The dome is supported by redwood post and beam construction that runs down to the first floor where the column bases define the outside of a marble tile mosaic.

View of Master Bedroom towards Library Mezzanine
The master bedroom is set at on the diagonal of the dome and has straw walls of all four sides. Because the room is set on the corner of the house it has deep set windows on all four sides of the room. |
