Summer Camp Projects: Cabins and Artsmahal

Each cabin was constructed during an 8 week summer camp. With the main labor being provided by the 10-14 year old campers as they enjoyed their summer and learned new skills. Each camper who helped to build a cabin felt a sense of pride and ownership in their creation. Each of the cabins has unique features due to the needs and desires of the campers as well as the geography of the specific cabin location. The floating tables were a big hit with the campers and staff.

The new arts and crafts building was dubbed the "Artsmahal". The tower adds both architectural interest, great space with a view and enjoyment for the campers. Designed to utilize the abundant summer light and maintain an airy feeling. Complete with utility sink and original much used art table.
