Oakland - Lower Hills Remodel

This remodel took many twists and turns. It is shown so that one can see that even an intermediate solution can work for now. The original home an old hunting cabin with a wood foundation had only one floor with dirt storage below. We started by lifting the home installing a foundation and then creating a new first floor with two new bedrooms and baths. A second phase of the project was planned to create a new entry living room, and master bedroom wing but economics interceded. For an intermediate solution it was decided to build an affordable deck to connect the home and outside yard over the foundation for the future living room . The deck sits on the poured foundation for the final living room project to be built in future years.
